The Arcturus VRX (Adventure Theater)

CLASSROOM OF THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY
The modern classroom suffers from an impoverished spectrum. It is almost singularly a cerebral channel. As a learning environment, it is a poor substitute for modern day movie theaters or theme parks. It simply isn't rich enough! And, because of modern sound systems and internet journeys, the average person demands as much real experience as can be had.
|The Arcturus group accepts that challenge. For especially integrated learning situations, where the idea and the experience of life are inseparable, our VRX technology is a perfect solution. Nature is the secret ingredient. We stage impeccably powerful natural settings as our classrooms. Then we build a full music track and appropriate characters into the script. The audience themselves are then coached to participate creatively in the dramatic story.|
We can integrate very specific learning objectives into the mix, or we can evoke very precise emotions and feelings. The combinations are like real life situations, so the learning can be tailored for crises or especially critical moments. That's where leadership and teamwork come to life.
The journey itself is interactive. The participants are guided to specific story sets and challenge sites, but they decide how to negotiate the situation. Eventually the participants take over and continue the masquerade with their own fantasy elements, costumes, and theater.

Then in the red mesas of Sedona,
sacred rites are planned called
the quest for the Komodo dragon off the coast of Bali.
What happens that's different? Well for one thing once the magical mystery tour that begins the adventure becomes seamlessly real ... no one returns to twentieth century reality until the gig's done. Often the presence of a movie-like sound track carries the energy field to another realm. Food appears magically in wild settings with no one there to explain. Costumes, masks, and staging are available at key moments to transform the party into yet another world. Story tellers in full wardrobe appear on natural stages that defy normal production design. Horses bring riders with new treasure maps to further the discovery. Large dragon skins transport hundreds of players in a marching cadence into strange worlds in unusually choreographed pieces. And so it goes !
Yes, all this and very precise corporate objectives can be merged almost imperceptibly into the dramatic mix.

The two primary reasons why the Adventure theater format
works are simply:
IT BONDS THE ENTIRE GROUP WITH ITS PRIMARY SENSE OF PURPOSE AND GIVES IT STRENGTH AT THE CENTER.
IT IS A LIGHT HEARTED BUT FULL CYCLE SCRIMMAGE WITH THE FUTURE SO THAT THE ENTIRE GROUP LEARNS HOW TO EMBRACE THE ENTIRE CHANGE PROCESS IN A SMOOTH AND DETERMINED FLOW.
here are some ideals in any organization that are just more important than others. Values, vision and higher purpose are examples. If they are given the same treatment as any other corporate policy, then they can be expected to get the same measure of allegiance. The corporate cathedral component of the adventure theater blended with deep tribal council produce a soul level connection to the deeper meanings of the groups work together. This work produces a loyal and sustainable workforce.
he ability to consistently and nimbly change direction and bring the entire culture along, intact, is the premiere test of the organization of the nineties. Many have mastered one or two of the change steps but bog down on the full cycle of transformation. Successful groups move through all the change steps in a seamless flow.
e at Arcturus subscribe to the whole systems approach. We believe that no flavor of the month incremental fix is as healthy as giving the entire tribe a full workout together. Do it. Then talk about it. The entire change process is imbedded in this grand outdoor adventure. The group will feel like they are being treated to an incentive reward program and be practicing deep change at the same time

|Thank you for this awesome opportunity.
|I learned to be open to the wisdom of life.
|I see my job now as staging my fellow workers
|I take home the courage to empower my workers and will protect them so that they can be responsible risk-takers and grow personally. I will empassion those around me with the commitment to possibilities, distinctions and self-mastery with passion for all that they do.
|I will take home a set of values to gauge
success by and also be able to unmask pretense.
|I will now make sure my team knows what we leaders know, that they know what kind of company we work for, why we're different, where we're going, what we stand for and our deep commitment to the realm of possibility.
|I know now I must master myself before I can really effect my culture because my being speaks louder than my words.
|I most enjoyed the true awakening of the spirit within me, it was an experience unlike any I have ever had.
|I feel that the messages delivered to me were oneness of direction, the need for a strong culture and to build real accountability into everything.
|This was worth the trip, a once in a lifetime opportunity.
|What I most enjoyed was seeing my peers drop their guards and release the talent they have inside plus the food was incredible.
|I rediscovered the leader inside of me.
|The messages I feel were delivered over the past three days were possibilities beyond what we believe exist if we are committed to finding and nurturing them.
|There is a spiritual component in personal excellence. The source for passion, commitment, self-mastery, and destination is internal to us. A Corporation that celebrates these values enables the individual search.
|I affirmed that commitment, passion, self-mastery, and distinction are important. We are the ones to transfer this to our employees.|
