Crop Circles
A CIVILIZING INTELLIGENCE

I am constantly ashamed to see the academic communities of the world shun the work of analyzing the crop circle phenomenon for what it seems to me to be as an uncompromisingly consistent, aesthetically constant, and playful exchange of visual language from a civilized source. It is also disappointing that those who have been on site, who have witnessed the circles firsthand, have very incomplete understanding of what they are looking at. The descriptive power of our human observers seems so very limited to date.
As a designer of visual language I can offer that we are being treated with an unendingly well-crafted series of complex imagery that communicate a process orientation or we might call verbs and descriptors of thoughtful “actions”. Occasionally, there are pictures or isomorphic indications in that they recognize and use our human forms or copy our tools. Also, from time to time there are precise portrayals of orbital dynamics with consistent use of symbols to indicate suns, moons, and stars that are from somewhere else! All these images bespeak of intelligent design.
Occasionally, there will be a solar system diagram to complete the larger picture just to give context to the idea that they represent a similar intelligence and live in similar circumstances. That is a sign of courtesy and civilized intent.
However the more impressive qualities of obvious intelligence here are that they never seem to miss the canvas. They consistently target fields that are ripe for their potent designs, position the images carefully inside those fields, and get an almost perfect result with the tools they use. Have you ever seen an incomplete image? Have you ever seen a poorly rendered image? Do you notice how consistently composed the patterns are? As an artist I would conclude that the same team of designers is at work. The circles have similar motifs and a consistent style.
Do you notice that the images are dynamic? They have radiant movement inside them that to me indicates they are transmitting intelligent process designs of motion. These are designs that could represent galactic truths about how things really work out there somewhere. Imagine if they just sent the letters e=mc2 ? It would have no real power of expression what so ever.
They instead communicate processes that can be read visually by anyone here though they could be happening elsewhere. Granted there is no earthly written language in their work. That’s because they want to communicate to our more universal planetary public here as a way of getting around the facts that the governments are not giving us the contact information we should rightfully get!
I conclude that our science communities have hardening of the categories in that they cannot take on new examinations that don’t fit within the specific hallowed disciplines of art and science. Where are the general systems people? Where is the basic ability to report on what appears to be the unknown in a sober cross-disciplinary way? You academicians are an embarrassment to our struggling civilization. Silent governments are even worse as they were elected to represent and communicate to us about things that will assist us all in better choice making. What is going on is not democratic in anyway!
What really knocks me out is that we may be receiving massages from former graduates of this earth …yes your ancestors …. Are you are worried that they may not be friendly????? We have programmed to believe that galactic incursions are essentially evil and threatening. Just another way to use fear based tactics to solicit more defense dollars? If they are smart enough to design such aesthetic and playful imagery why imagine they are hostile? The reports also indicate that the fields they have chosen to reshape produce a superior harvest the following years. Sounds pretty responsible to me.
Our institutions again disappoint us in their ability to treat us with the respect we are due. Get in the game or go way! I heard a recent report about people just not sending the city bound power centers any food or water for awhile. Meanwhile the power centers are parading around their crowd control vehicles. They act like they are at war with us.
I challenge who claim to be interested in art and science to get in the game. Access these phenomena in a cross disciplinary way while imagining that those sending the messages are being friendly and attempting to let you know they have a slightly different set of tools and thinking. We could be communicating to our galactic neighbors that we are not worth saving!
